This weekend The Wavertree Tennis Centre played host to the 2010 Festival of Health and Activity. The festival was a great success and launched Liverpool’s Year of Health and Wellbeing 2010 with a bang.

Hundreds of families came down to spend the day trying out new sports, chatting to experts and learning about how to become more involved in sports and activity in Liverpool.

From cycle smoothies to relaxing massages, body fat tests to quasar, there was something for everyone. The crowds were wowed by singing groups, dance troupes and fitness demonstrations ranging from baby yoga to boxercise.

Are you looking for inspiration, motivation and encouragement to lead a healthier, happier lifestyle? SK Events invites you to the launch of the 'Year of Wellbeing 2010' with the Festival of Health and Activity!

Come along and try your luck on a trampoline, scale a climbing wall or practise your tennis strokes. If you're feeling a little less adventurous then maybe a massage will be a little more to your taste. Younger visitors will have the chance to enjoy some storytelling, arts & crafts and entertainment from dance and fitness demos.

This is a fun and informative festival for all the family aiming to encourage awareness of healthier lifestyles. Come along with the kids for a fun-filled day of interactive activity and learning on Sunday 10th January at the Lifestyles Tennis Centre in Wavertree, Liverpool (10:30am-4:30pm)

SK Events are delighted to announce that the successful Liverpool Food & Drink Festival has been nominated in the culture awards category at the Liverpool Style Awards. The Liverpool Style Awards is Juice FM’s annual celebration of style in Liverpool and is being held on December 5th at the new Hilton Hotel in Liverpool city centre.

Voting has now closed and we would like to thank everybody who has supported the festival and voted for us. Fingers are now crossed!

On Friday 13th November, SK Events transformed the exotic Palm House in Sefton Park, Liverpool, into a refined dining room for the prestigious charity awards evening of Business Networking International. Guests were treated to a champagne reception followed by a luxurious 3-course gala dinner and live entertainment. The evening was a great success and nine charities benefited from the generosity of members.
