Disco Classical

From Feastival to Fever; dance fever, Sk Events curate and bring Disco Classical to the UK. Disco pioneers, Sister Sledge, the hugely innovative, Manchester Camerata and Northern favourites, Liverpool Disco Festival, will for the first time ever, come together, to deliver a compilation of  instrumental adaptions of disco hits, fronted by global superstars Sister Sledge. Set to be a string of live shows, Disco Classical will go on a UK tour, starting off at Victoria Warehouse, Manchester, July 13th, followed by Braehead Arena, Glasgow, July 14th. Manchester Eats

Delivering the city’s best local food and drink providers, SK transform the legendary Heaton Park into an outdoor, artisan feastival, complete with some of the best international cuisine, distillates and celebrity chef demonstrations, you’ll have ever feasted your eyes upon. For the first time ever, the iconic grounds will offer delectable dishes and transcending tastes, as well as a vibrant, interactive ‘Kid’s Village’, cooking masterclasses, acoustic performances, crafty workshops, free-from alternatives and innovative market goods.

Beauty and The Feast

Bringing together 60s-glam-punk-chef, Gizzi Erkstine and Liverpool-favourites, The Lightening Seeds, Sk Events created an Asian-inspired banquet pop-up, to precede the Liverpool Food and Drink Festival weekender. Attendees had the choice of four starters, including Roasted Duck, Watermelon Salad, Bang Bang Chicken & Vegetable Noodles. This was complimented by a main course of either Lamb Spit Roast in Bao Buns or crispy Confit Aubergine with Miso & Satay. Foodies concluded with a sweet thrill and greedily devoured the Baked Vietnamese Coffee, or the Caramel & Popcorn Cheesecake (or both). Inhabiting satisfied bellyfuls, diners enjoyed nineties pop favourites performed by the legendary: Ian Broudie, Martyn Cambell, Riley and Abi Harding.

Liverpool Food and Drink Festival

Established in 2008, SK Events manage all aspects of the award-winning, food and drink festival in the heart of Liverpool’s stunning Sefton Park. Delivering an event that celebrates the city’s thriving food and drink scene, LFDF exhibits over 150 local producers, cafes, restaurants and bars each year, bringing foodies tasty treats from all across the globe. Our feastival offers an impressive mix of celebrity chef demonstrations, masterclasses, themed dining areas, music stages and a chance to sample some of the region’s finest flavours.

Liverpool Spring Festival

Celebrating the birth of Spring, The Liverpool Spring Festival returns this April, packing cobra poses, vegan junk-food, mindful oils and baby lambs! Our Spring incentive is simple; to embrace the season of new beginnings. Try out yoga, engage in crafty workshops, partake in gardening sessions and be enlightened with nutritional, free-from alternatives. Welcome a blissful head-space with meditation sessions. Plant fresh buds. Bask in the resonating echoes of bleating goats and even reinvent yourself, with upcycling furniture sessions and knitting classes.

Liverpool 2 Launch

SK Events delivered two high-profile stakeholder events in the Port of Liverpool, including a welcome reception for Chancellor George Osborne and a stakeholder event to celebrate the start of construction of the Liverpool 2 terminal. The media, plus 100 of the region’s most influential business leaders were in attendance. SK transformed an empty warehouse into a state-of-the-art exhibition centre that served as a dining room & pop-up restaurant space simultaneously. Guests enjoyed a three-course dinner and danced the night away to international recording artists, Bond and Heather Small of M People.

TK Maxx – Liverpool Store Opening and ‘Christmas Road Show’ Campaign

SK Events were appointed the task of providing festive, themed, store-opening events that would dazzle, and provide entertainment for shoppers to experience throughout the Christmas period across Liverpool.  Performing male and female models on stilts paraded throughout the utopian ‘Garden of Delights’, that boasted artificial grass, topiary trees and neon pink flamingos. Our colourful creation invited 300 select guests to sample haute canapes, irresistible cupcakes and champagne on arrival, before an exclusive evening of retail therapy. From such success, SK lead and directed the ‘TK Maxx Christmas Road Show’ across Ireland and Wales.

Taste Cumbria / BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend

A VIP event at the BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend to promote Cumbrian food and drink to some of the world’s most renowned musicians, including Lady Gaga, Plan B, The Foo Fighters, Tinie Tempah and the Black Eyed Peas.

Celebration of Style

The three-day event consisted of numerous pop-up events, showcasing international fashion, art, architecture and photography. We exhibited a fashion show, press-launches, photography and style exhibitions and various after parties and in-store activities across Liverpool. We also held an exclusive dinner party for select individuals to attend; hosted by fashion designer, Matthew Williamson, we created an ambient, majestic dining experience, set in the beautiful Knowsley Hall.
