EVENTS SALES EXECUTIVE
The role of the Events Sales Executive at is essentially, to sell. But this is no regular ‘cold calling’ sales position, you’ll be working on events in exciting industries including food & drink, as well as possibly B2B industry events including exhibitions and conferences.
We want someone with a track record in exhibition/event sales with passion and motivation for what they do, we want someone with enthusiasm for events and the services SK Events & PR have to offer, and most of all we want someone who is personable and persistent. You will be target driven, and in return reap the rewards.
You will be selling a wide range of packages relating to company owned events, including festival pitches and sponsorship packages. You’ll be liaising to a variety of different audiences, so you won’t feel like a robot, there’s no sales script here!
We want someone who can build and more importantly maintain genuine relationships and connections with the likes of businesses, governmental organisations and individuals, mainly in the UK.
About You: The right person for this role will be; A natural very experienced salesperson. Personable, confident and enthusiastic. Dynamic and target driven. Excellent in communication and writing skills. Able to work on your own initiative. Exceptional at time management and prioritising
Duties: Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C) sales. Part of your day-to-day activities will include:- researching the market and related products- establishing meetings with potential new clients, negotiating terms (price, costs, delivery, specifications) of agreements and closing sales – gathering clear market and client information and understanding their requirements. Representing the company at in store events, trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations. Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy. Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions. Creating detailed proposal documentation. Liaising with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders. Keeping record of all sales on system. Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets. Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing quotations
