Year of Health and Wellbeing 2010 Big Launch

This weekend The Wavertree Tennis Centre played host to the 2010 Festival of Health and Activity. The festival was a great success and launched Liverpool’s Year of Health and Wellbeing 2010 with a bang.

Hundreds of families came down to spend the day trying out new sports, chatting to experts and learning about how to become more involved in sports and activity in Liverpool.

From cycle smoothies to relaxing massages, body fat tests to quasar, there was something for everyone. The crowds were wowed by singing groups, dance troupes and fitness demonstrations ranging from baby yoga to boxercise.
