Event management and publicity consultancy SK Events has marked the first quarter of 2011 by securing a number of high calibre clients and welcoming three new members of staff.
Headed by Director Denise Harris, the Liverpool-based agency has expanded its portfolio considerably in recent months to include the first ever Taste Cumbria Food Tourism Summit and Government initiative Sure Start.
SK Events recently announced their key involvement in the forthcoming RunLiverpool Marathon and have now been commissioned to publicise and promote RunLiverpool’s Women’s 10km race, which is to be held in the city this coming May.
“The recent increase in clients and staff is extremely encouraging and our success is a testament to the team’s ability to achieve new business while still developing relationships with our existing clients”, said Harris, “It is also hugely exciting to witness the development and growth of the agency’s publicity arm, which now boasts a number of standalone clients in addition to marketing our client’s events.”
These recent wins have driven the recruitment of three new members of staff, in as many weeks. Former journalist Nicola Rowlands joins the team as a PR manager, Charlene Lyttle has been added as an Events Co-ordinator and Julie Vincent joins as a Magazine Manager for the company’s ‘Family Go Live’ publication.
