As big fans of TV’s ‘The Great British Bake-off’, we’re delighted to announce the show’s judge - Paul Hollywood - is returning to his Merseyside roots to find the region’s best amateur bakers. The Wallasey-born ‘Great British Bake Off’ judge is teaming up with this year’s Liverpool Food & Drink Festival tostage a local version of his search to find the country’s best amateur baking talent. Paul Hollywood, who returns to TV screens later this year in a new series of the ‘Great British Bake Off’, is looking forward to working with the team at SK Events and returning to Merseyside. He said: “There’s so much talent in the region, I’ve been keen to run in a battle of the bakers here for a while. I think the Liverpool Food & Drink Festival will provide a perfect setting for the bake off, which will be great fun. “We’re looking for amateur bakers with real flair and passion to take part, so come on all you homebakers, we want to hear from you!” Find out more at www.liverpoolfoodanddrinkfestival.co.uk
